Finding TidBITSThe weekly TidBITS issue is available in many online places, including BBSes and internal company mailing lists. This page notes distribution means that TidBITS controls fairly directly. (All foreign language translations exist on the Web; all have mailing lists or are distributed via newsgroups as well. The information below focuses on English issues.) Email: Mailing List - Our mailing list serves almost 50,000 people each week and is the most common way people read TidBITS. To subscribe, send email to tidbits-on@tidbits.com. Latest Issue via Email - You can request the latest issue of TidBITS via email by sending a blank message to tidbits@tidbits.com. Past issues are not available via email. Web: Web Archive - All past and present TidBITS issues are available on the Web. Web Search Engine - Use the search engine to search our entire Web archive. Web-based subscriptions - If your Web browser supports subscriptions, that is, the ability to "subscribe" to a Web page and notify you when that page changes, you can use this feature with TidBITS by subscribing to http://www.tidbits.com/tb-issues/TidBITS-current.html. Web Channel - TidBITS is available as an Internet Explorer channel. Other: Palm Users - For users of Palm OS handheld devices, David Charlesworth has made issues available in DOC format, and users of AvantGo can subscribe to a special "TidBITS for AvantGo" page. FTP Archive - All past and present issues are available via FTP in the setext format that we use for sending to the mailing list. Issues in the FTP archives are organized by year. Usenet News - You can read TidBITS each week in the Usenet newsgroup comp.sys.mac.digest. Online Services - Although the Internet is our primary distribution medium, TidBITS also exists on a number of the online services, including America Online and CompuServe. Special thanks to digital.forest, our Web and mailing list host. Copyright 2008 TidBITS.
